i was out walking my dog the other morning, and it had just snowed a little, so there was a thin layer of snow on the ground. on my way back, i ran across a set of odd tracks in the snow.

two things that make me uncomfortable. expectations. people who expect me to be good at something piss me off because i’m usually not. people who expect me to be bad at something piss me off because i usually am. expectorations. phlegm is just gross.

while my parents were fretting over whether or not tiff and i would be ok in japan by ourselves, i surprised them by making the declaration, “watashi-wa nihongo-ga wakarimas!” (i understand japanese!)

while browsing some site, i found minty mp3. an mp3 player built into an altoids box. how cool is that? it’s way over my head though, so although i’d like to try building it one day, it’s not likely to happen.
