in the process of preparing for japan, i decided to study up on the japanese alphabet, so that i’d be able to find my way around using street signs and what not. i was able to get about 80% of the hiragana system, which is great, right? WRONG!

well, my trip to asia is coming up fast, and i’m constantly asked if i’m excited. honestly, i’m not excited. i think nervous is the word that comes to mind. but probably not for reasons you might think.
ok, so i’ve done it. i’ve gone and cut my hair short. really short. about a quarter inch up top, and peach fuzz on the back and sides.
i found the search words used to stumble onto my site to be very interesting. it seems that there are a lot of insaniquarium fans out there.
