i’ve been asked how a “mild migraine” differs from a regular headache. i actually wasn’t sure, so i looked it up in wikipedia.

i woke up with a moderate migraine on the left side of my head, with some nausea.

i woke up today with a minor migraine. it was focused on the left side of my head, with no nausea.

it is suggested that migraine sufferers keep track of their migraines and the surrounding circumstances in an effort to figure out what their “trigger(s)” is (are). so that’s what this new category is for. i will try to include as many possible triggers that i can think of and hopefully a pattern will appear.
